How does someone write about herself without sounding cheesy? I know – can’t be done. So first just the facts: I became a first time grandma this year, married to a great guy for more than 30 years, two awesome sons married to two amazing women, living a life of destiny and potential. Now how I see myself: Jesus freak (unapologetically in love with the One who died that I may live). Cubs fan (interpretation: finally I can celebrate!). Ageless cheerleader (I encourage. It’s what I do.) Because I want to live a long healthy life, I try to make wise health and fitness choices…eating better, working out regularly, sharing my story of feeling great. I’m trying to push against the boundaries of who I thought I was and embrace how God sees me.
